
Rosemary Elizabeth Maher, 83, of Fredericksburg passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, with her three daughters and her sister at her side.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Rosemary grew up in Bellerose, N.Y., raised her family in Somerset, N.J., and retired to Fredericksburg.
Mrs. Maher was a parishioner of St. Matthias Catholic Church in Somerset, N.J., where she participated in the CYO youth groups. She was also an avid member of the Lee’s Hill Enhancement Committee. Mrs. Maher enjoyed knitting, needlework, landscaping and gardening, and she loved the outdoors and time with her family.

She was a dedicated mother to her surviving children, Kevin Maher, John Maher, Mary Maher, Patti Garcia and Rosie Misenhimer. Also surviving are her sister, Patricia Conboy; and five grandchildren, James, Lukas, Rose, Sonja and Danny. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Joseph Maher; and brother Billy Mullen.
A service will be held at St. Matthias Catholic Church with interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway Township, N.J.
