School Closing/Delay Update From Fredericksburg Area Schools
Blizzard conditions have school administrators making the call early for a change in the schedule for Friday, Jan. 22.
Schools are preparing for the blizzard conditions expected to begin early Friday afternoon in the area.
By the end of the snow event, there is expected to be more than a foot of snow.
Fredericksburg City Public Schools will be closed on Friday January 22, 2016, Code Red.

All Spotsylvania County Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 22, 2016. 12-month employees are Code 1.

Due to the significant severe winter storm to hit our region beginning on Friday, all Stafford County Public Schools will be closed Friday, January 22, 2016, with employees on Code 1.
All activities are cancelled Friday through Sunday 1/22-1/24. This includes parks and recreation events and church services held in our schools. The SAT exams at MVHS, NSHS and CFHS scheduled for this Saturday have been cancelled and rescheduled for February 20.
