Shaun Dennis Edwards, 36, of Stafford passed away suddenly Monday, September 28, 2015 at approximately 11 p.m.
Shaun served in the U.S. Navy and attended Northern Virginia Community College. He was currently working at Hyatt Place in Fredericksburg in food service. Shaun was the son of the late Dennis F. Edwards.
He is survived by his month old son, Caleb Dennis Edwards; significant other Karen Smith; mother Jacqueline Edwards; brothers Chad Edwards and Mark Ray-Jones; aunts and uncles, Violene Imanuel (Leonard), Alphonso Jenkins (Tanya), Clementine Hawthorne, Mary White (Earl), Ivia Redmond (Joseph) and Gwendolyn Rhaney; many special first cousins, extended family members and wonderful friends.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his aunt, Bernishia Jones.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, Virginia.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 3 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the Jenkins Family Cemetery in Halifax North Carolina.
