Sherry Mooney, 68

Sherry Mooney, 68, of Fredericksburg, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Ms. Mooney was a member at St. Mary Catholic Church and she loved her cat, Gabby. Sherry was a long time resident of Fredericksburg, and had many great friends.

Survivors include her mother, Kathleen C. Hook; her step-mother, Evelyn P. Mooney; her brother, Richard Shawn Mooney; her sister, Cathy Holmes and her friend, Carrie Allahut.

A memorial mass will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 20 at St. Mary Catholic Church; 1009 Stafford Ave, Fredericksburg, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
