Young started to drive away when the deputy learned that she had active warrants from Stafford and Fredericksburg, according to the sheriff's office.

The deputy chased the sisters down Warrenton Road before they crashed into a crosswalk signal, authorities said. After the crash, both sisters ran away from the scene.

The driver, Kelzy Young, was taken into custody on Sebring drive. The passenger, Sharlynia Young, ran towards a nearby Taco Bell.

"Thinking outside the bun did not work as her pink hair made her easily recognizable," the sheriff's office said in a report. A deputy took Sharlynia Young into custody in the Taco Bell parking lot.
