STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — Stafford County sheriff deputies arrested three people Thursday night, soon after they allegedly robbed a man of a pair of sneakers that he was trying to sell them at a location near Colonial Forge High School at 550 Courthouse Road. The suspects also took the shoes and watch the victim was wearing after knocking him to the ground and kicking him in the head.
The suspects in the Nov. 21 incident are Georell Hall, 21, of Stafford, John Gonzalez, 20, of Stafford, and a 17-year-old. Hall and Gonzalez were charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, assault by mob and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Hall and Gonzalez are being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. The 17-year-old is being held at the Rappahannock Juvenile Center in Stafford County.
The victim told Stafford County Sheriff's Office deputies that he used an app to make arrangements to meet the three male suspects at the school to sell them the pair of sneakers. When the victim arrived and handed the shoes over, the suspects began assaulting him, according to the sheriff's office.
