'Snowball Fights' Dec. 28 at Riverfront Park In Fredericksburg
An event dubbed "Snowball Fights" is set for Dec. 28 at Riverfront Park in Fredericksburg. The "snowballs" will be made of, ahem, polyester.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Of the many heretofore unanswered questions that so bedevil us, here's one that can be answered in the affirmative, thanks to the Fredericksburg Parks and Recreation department. Namely, if it possible to have a snowball fight if, you know, there's no snow with which to make them?
Make that a resounding yes. From 6-8 p.m. on Dec. 28 at Riverfront Park in downtown, 705 Sophia Street, there will be an event simply dubbed "Snowball Fights." Snow or no snow, these snowballs will be made from polyester. Fun! Or something.
The cost is $3 per person or $5 per groups of two. Participants of all ages are welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult. You can also sign up for an "adults only" match. Matches will be held every 15 minutes. Food and drink vendors will be on hand, but you're welcome to bring drinking water.
