Special Fish Platter For Lent On The Menu At Metro Diner

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Metro Diner is offering customers a special fish platter deal every Friday during Lent. The platter includes two beer-battered fillets of wild North Atlantic cod, tartar sauce, cole slaw and seasoned fries for $9.99.

Metro Diner, at 2068 Plank Road (Route 3) in Fredericksburg, is offering the fish platter deal for the first time as a special to coincide with Lent. The fish fry platter will become a permanent Metro Diner menu item following its rollout for Lent.

Customer can also order breakfast for dinner at Metro Diner during Lent, with dishes such as a Belgian waffle topped with blueberries, strawberries, bananas and powdered sugar, or cinnamon roll pancakes, croissant french toast, and various eggs benedict and omelets dishes.

In 2018, Metro Diner, a Florida-based chain restaurant, moved into the location of the old Friendly’s restaurant in the Greenbrier Shopping Center on Route 3.
