Spotsylvania County Little League Fun Run - Celebrating Little League's 75th Anniversary!

Spotsylvania County Little League Celebrating Little League’s® 75th Anniversary with a 1-mile & 5K Fun Run

 Spotsylvania, Virginia. (May, 2014).   This year Little League International celebrates 75 years of developing Major League People.  Spotsylvania County Little League (SCLL) will join in the celebration by hosting a Fun Run on May 31, 2014.  There will be a 1-mile base-stealer & a 5K Timed Home Run Trot.

 “We are expecting a fun-filled, family-friendly 5k race and one-mile fun run,” said Phillip Blake, SCLL President. “Many of us have our own fond memories of our years in Little League, this will be a great way for our League players, families & community members to come together and celebrate 75 years of Little League.”

The event will be held at Spotsylvania Courthouse Village Pavilion in Spotsylvania, VA.  The one-mile fun run will begin at 8:00 a.m and the 5k timed race will begin at 9 am.  For more information or to register for SCLL’s fun run, please visit the 75th Anniversary page at:  www.spotsyll.org.  Registration information can be found at: www.racetimingunlimited.org.
