SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA — A Spotsylvania County woman has been charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of her mother Monday evening, according to the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office.

Lisa Anne Harmon, 57, is accused of stabbing her mother to death. When sheriff's deputies arrived at the house in the 6400 block of Plantation Forest Drive around 6 p.m. Monday, they found 73-year-old Sophie Rumuly with multiple stab wounds. Rumuly was dead when the deputies arrived.
