Spotsylvania Schools Makes Weather Decision For March 2

SPOTSYLVANIA, VA—Because of expected ferocious winds with the possibility of downed trees and power lines, Spotsylvania public schools will be closed Friday, March 2.

Here's the official statement: "Due to the National Weather Service Warnings of dangerously high sustained winds, making for dangerous bus travel, possible downed trees and power lines, and power outages, all schools will be closed March 2, 2018. 12-month Employees are Code 1 - essential personnel."
