Stafford County Public Schools Delay Opening Tuesday

Stafford County Public Schools has announced a delayed opening on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, due to the threat of snowy conditions during the morning commute.

Schools will open two hours late.

Inclement weather conditions will be reassessed at 7:15 a.m., according to a school district statement.

There will be no a.m. preschool classes. There is no change to p.m. preschool class schedules.

The area is still under a winter weather advisory until 1 p.m.

At publishing there was no news on any delays for Fredericksburg City or Spotsylvania County schools.
