Stafford Man Found Asleep Inside Truck Crashed In Roadside Ditch
A Stafford County Sheriff's deputy responded to an accident early Thursday morning where they found a pickup off the road in some bushes.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA —A Stafford County Sheriff's deputy responded to an accident early Thursday morning where they found a pickup truck off the road inside some bushes in a ditch in an area of Route 1 and Eskimo Hill Road.
At around 1:20 a.m. Thursday, the deputy noticed the driver of the truck, Emil Ellis, 25, of Stafford passed out behind the wheel. Ellis awoke and the deputy noticed the smell of alcoholic beverages, according to the sheriff's office.
The sheriff's office administered field sobriety tests and Ellis was charged with driving under the influence and refusal of a test, the sheriff's office said.
