Star Student Is 'Remarkably Special' In Class And In The Community
A star student from Fredericksburg is being recognized for her outstanding achievements in the classroom and in the community.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
This submission comes from Ebony Williams who nominated Gabrielle, 12th grade of Fredericksburg.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Gabrielle works hard at EVERYTHING she sets her mind to do. She excels not only in the classroom (having a 4.15 gpa), but in the community volunteering over 300 hours during high school. She is a leader in every aspect of the word. She is president of The National Honor Society, president of the Medical/Vet club. She was voted varsity captain on her volleyball team. Gabrielle doesn't just talk about her dreams; she works tirelessly and relentlessly to achieve each and every goal. She operates in excellence. She leaves every club, team, class, and organization better than it was. She deserves this recognition and so much more. You can't meet Gabrielle and not want to be better. She is an inspiration to her family, peers, and adults alike. Thank you.
