Survey Gives Mary Washington Hospital an 'A'; Stafford a 'B'
Both Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital got high grades for hospital safety from a national not-for-profit organization.

The Leapfrog Group gave high grades to both Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital for patient safety.
The Leapfrog Group is a national not-for-profit organization founded by employers and private health care purchasers.
got an "A" for the Hospital Safety Score and got a "B" score. The Hospital Safety Scores were calculated using public data on patient injuries, medical and medication errors and infections. U.S. hospitals are graded on a scale of A, B, C, D, or F for their safety.
