Police Release Photos Of Suspect Accused Of Assaulting Two Women In A Stafford Walmart
The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying a man who is accused of assaulting two women in a Walmart.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — Police in Stafford County are looking for a man who they believe grabbed two women's rear ends during separate incident at a Walmart on Sunday afternoon. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office released photos of the suspect, and they are asking for the public's help identifying him.
The first incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. at the Walmart in Washington Square Plaza in Stafford County. The victim, who police only identified as a woman, was shopping in the store's curtain aisle, according to the police report. The woman told police that an unknown man grabbed her buttocks with both hands and then left the store.
The victim described the suspect as a man wearing dark grey sweatpants, a royal blue hoodie, a blue mask, and a dark hat and shoes.

A second incident occurred two hours later, around 3:15 p.m. at the same Walmart. Another female victim told police that she was in shopping when she noticed a man following her through the store. She tried to avoid him by going to different aisles, but he continued to follow her, according to the sheriff's office.

The victim reported that while she was in the camping aisle, the man threw a towel on her head and grabbed her buttocks. He then left the store, authorities said.
The second victim provided a description that matched the suspect in the first assault. However, during the second assault, the suspect was wearing a black long sleeve shirt and a black hat, police said.

Authorities believe that the man fled the store in a silver SUV. Anyone with more information can contact Detective B.A. Boyle at 540-658-4400.
"Residents are reminded to be alert to their surroundings and the people around you," the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post after the assaults. "Stay in well lit areas and walk confidently. If you feel you are being followed, notify a store employee or call 911."
