Suspect Jumps From Third-Story Window, Runs Back Upstairs, Falls Through Ceiling in Stafford: Police
Stafford County Sheriff's Office says the man was wanted for failure to appear in court and had a history of trying to flee from police.

STAFFORD, VA — A man wanted for failing to appear in court briefly disappeared Friday night after trying to flee from arresting officers by locking himself in his room, hiding outside on a window sill, jumping out of a third-story window, re-entering the townhouse through a ground floor window, hiding in the attic and then falling through the ceiling after being found, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's office.
Isaac Brickley Moore, 18, was charged with obstructing justice. He originally had been charged with assault and battery, receiving stolen goods, possession of marijuana and failure to appear.
Around 9 p.m., two officers went to the Barrows Court residence to arrest Moore, with one staying outside and in the back of the townhouse with a K-9 because, police say, Moore had a history of fleeing from cops.

Someone let the first officer into the residence, after which Moore saw him and ran into his room, locking and barricading the door, which was kicked in by the officer who then saw Moore crouching outside on a window sill at the front of the townhouse.
That's when Moore jumped, and that's when the officer, who quickly ran down two flights of stairs, lost him.

While a search was going on outside, the first office re-entered the residence on a hunch and, sure enough, heard a soft banging noise coming from the third floor. He followed the noise, found brown insulation under an attic hatch, knew it had to be Moore making the sounds and ordered him to surrender.
He didn't, instead burrowing himself in the insulation, according to police, who then say they told him if he didn't come down, they'd sic the K-9 on him.
So he did — after falling through the ceiling while trying to maneuver back to the attic hatch.
Moore is being held without bond, presumably with no chance to escape this time.
