Suspect Sought After Police Chase In Stafford: Sheriff's Office
Authorities in Stafford said a man threw a gun out of his car window while fleeing police on Wednesday morning. He is still at large.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A suspect was still at large after a police chase in Stafford County on Wednesday morning, the sheriff's office said. Authorities said they do not believe there is a threat to the public.
The sheriff's office reported there was a short car chase near Staffordboro Boulevard before the suspect threw a gun and other items into the McDonald's parking lot. He then ran into Sunningdale Meadows, authorities said.
Police said there would be a large law enforcement presence in the area of Sunningdale Meadows as they search for the suspect.
