Suspects Assault 7-Eleven Clerk After Being Denied Alcohol: Police
Two men assaulted the clerk at a Stafford 7-Eleven after the clerk told them he couldn't sell alcohol after midnight, police said.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — Two men assaulted a 7-Eleven clerk after he told them he was unable to sell alcohol after midnight, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office reported. Authorities are now looking for the men.
The sheriff's office did not say whether the clerk was seriously injured in the assault.
Investigators described the first suspect as a Black man aged 18 to 25 with a goatee and medium-length hair. He was wearing ripped jeans and a tie-dye hoodie.

The second suspect was a white man aged 18 to 25, according to the police report. He was wearing light sweatpants and a black hoodie. The two men left the area in a silver vehicle.
The assault occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday at the 7-Eleven on Solomon Drive. Store employees said the two men entered the facility to purchase alcohol. The pair left the store after they learned that the cashiers could not sell alcohol after midnight, authorities said.

"Moments later, both suspects entered the business again and threatened a staff member before assaulting him," the sheriff's office said. "During the assault, multiple items were destroyed."
The pair of men then left the store.
