Suspects Sought For Stealing From Vehicles In Stafford: SCSO
Police are looking for three males who rummaged through vehicles and stole numerous items Wednesday in a Stafford neighborhood: SCSO.

STAFFORD, VA—Police are looking for three males who rummaged through vehicles and stole numerous items Wednesday in a neighborhood off Kings Crest Drive, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. During a search of the area, police spotted the suspects in the 1200 block of Kings Crest Drive but lost them when they ran into nearby woods.
Police went to the area following reported larcenies. One caller said three males were backpacks were rummaging through vehicles in the neighborhood. A neighbor yelled at them, after which they fled.
One resident later said a registration card was stolen from her glove box, and another said both her keys and a purse were missing. The purse was found nearby but without the wallet, which contained several credit cards. Another resident found a birth certificate and a social security card while walking her dog.
