Teen Wanted For Trespassing At Fredericksburg School In Custody: FBI
Teen wanted for trespassing at James Monroe High School apprehended by the FBI in New Jersey, according to reports.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — The FBI’s Washington Field Office notified the Fredericksburg Police Department at 5:05 p.m. on Friday that a 16-year-old boy wanted for trespassing on the grounds of a city high school last week was in custody in Florence, New Jersey, according to authorities.
On Thursday, the FBI contacted FPD and told them that Fasihullah Safar, who was reported missing out of Fairfax County, was in Fredericksburg. FBI personnel also identified Safar as the suspect wanted for trespassing on the campus or James Monroe High School.
Out of concern for the safety of city schools, Fredericksburg City Public Schools closed all schools on Friday, according to police.

Working with the FBI, FPD learned that the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office believed that Safar had stolen a vehicle late Thursday night, police say. The vehicle was recovered in another state on Friday afternoon. The FBI arrested Safar Friday in New Jersey.

FPD determined through its investigation that there was no direct threat to the schools, according to authorities.
