Teens Charged After Robbing Trick-Or-Treaters In Fredericksburg: Cops
Four teens have now been charged after authorities said they robbed trick-or-treaters at gunpoint on Halloween.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Three more teens have been charged in connection with robbing trick-or-treaters at gunpoint in Fredericksburg, the city's police department said.
One suspect, a 15-year-old girl accused of driving the getaway car, had already been charged with reckless driving, improper backing, driving without a license. robbery, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Authorities announced criminal charges against three teenage boys on Thursday. All three are being held at the Rappahannock Regional Juvenile Detention Center.

A pair of 16-year-old boys from Fredericksburg are charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. A 14-year-old boy from Spotsylvania faces the same charges.
"Additional charges are pending for another juvenile suspect," the Fredericksburg Police Department said on Thursday. "The investigation is active and ongoing."

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Halloween on Farrish Lane, according to the police report. A pair of teenage trick-or-treaters said they were surrounded by five masked people who demanded the shoes off their feet. The victims complied, and the suspects ran to a Honda Civic.
The driver of the Honda sped away and hit a vehicle on Idlewild Boulevard. Witnesses saw what happened and stopped the vehicle in a roundabout, authorities said.
The driver, the 15-year-old girl, remained at the scene. The four other people in the car scattered, the police department said.
