Thanksgiving Dinner: Restaurants Open In Downtown Fredericksburg

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — If you don't want to cook on Thanksgiving or need a meal in between, making lunch and dinner reservations is still an option in downtown Fredericksburg — but the option is quickly fading. A handful of restaurants are open but tables are going fast and you may be looking at a reservation waiting list. Here's what we found, and if we missed a spot, be sure to let us know in the comments below the story:

• Amy's Cafe, 103 Cambridge Street, will open at 2 p.m. Again, it's by reservation. 540-373-3663.
• The Bavarian Chef, 200 Lafayette Boulevard, will be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. but there's scant chance of of getting a table, inasmuch that there's already a long waiting list. 540-656-2101.
• Brock's Riverside Grill, 503 Sophia Street, may be your best bet. It'll be open 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and reservations are strongly suggested but not required. 540-370-1820.
