Thanksgiving Dinner: Restaurants Open In Downtown Fredericksburg
If you're thinking about having Thanksgiving dinner in downtown Fredericksburg, here's a list of open restaurants. Spots are filling fast.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—If you don't want to cook on Thanksgiving or need a meal in between, making lunch and dinner reservations is still an option in downtown Fredericksburg—but the option is quickly fading.
A handful of restaurants are open but tables are going fast and you may be looking at a reservation waiting list. Here's what we found, through both OpenTable and word of mouth. If we missed a spot, be sure to let us know in the comments section below the story:
- Amy's Cafe, 103 Cambridge Street, will open at 1 p.m. It's by reservation only. A traditional dinner is $24.95 and $12.95 for those 12 and under. 540-373-3663.
- The Bavarian Chef, 200 Lafayette Boulevard, will be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. but there's scant chance of of getting a table, inasmuch that there's already a long waiting list. 540-656-2101.
- Brock's Riverside Grill, 503 Sophia Street, may be your best bet. It'll be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and reservations are strongly suggested but not required. A traditional dinner is $20 for adults and $10 for kids. 540-370-1820.
- Kenmore Inn, 1200 Princess Anne Street, will be open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. There's a waiting list for what will be a traditional three-course meal. 540-371-7622.
