
Thomas Franklin Curtis, 64, fondly known as Tommy, was called to join our Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 8, 2015.
Tommy leaves behind a legacy of love and caring in his loving wife, Shirley; his beloved children, Tracey and Troy (Penni); the grandsons he was so proud of, Christopher, Collin, and Pierce; and a great-granddaughter he adored, Madelyn Grace. Tommy also leaves his brother and friend, Carl Curtis (Barbara); as well as his supportive sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews; cousins; and extended family who were all drawn to his gentle spirit and kind heart.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Mason and Helen Curtis, and his brother, Philip Curtis.

The family thanks the nurses, CNAs, EMTs, and doctors at Mary Washington Hospital and other offices who embraced him like their own . We would also like to thank the staff at Fredericksburg Dialysis.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at noon on Thursday, March 12 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
