Three Dead In Apparent Spotsylvania Murder-Suicide: Police

SPOTSYLVANIA, VA — Three people were found shot to death at a home Friday in the 7900 block of Waterford Drive, and the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office believes the killings were a murder-suicide. Mary Scully, 68, Mary Scully, 68, and their daughter, Meghan Scully, 38, suffered gunshot woulds.

Around 3:30 p.m., police went to the home after a neighbor reported see the family dog running loose in the neighborhood and saw a door to the home partially open. The investigation is on-going.
