Three Names Added To Fredericksburg Wall Of Honor

The Wall of Honor posthumously recognizes people who made significant contributions to the Fredericksburg community.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Three people who contributed significantly to the Fredericksburg community during their lifetimes were added to the city’s Wall of Honor, according to a report. The honor recognizes residents who have been deceased for at least a year.

New additions to the Wall of Honor, the Free Lance-Star reported, include:

Weldon Bailey, former City Council member and owner of Bailey Funeral Service
Dr. Lloyd F. Moss, physician and leader in Fredericksburg for more than 60 years
Barbara Terry, served as Rappahannock United Way’s president for 29 years

The Fredericksburg Memorials Advisory Commission makes the recommendations, which are later approved by the city council. The three newest honorees will be officially inducted at a later date.
