Two Armed Robberies Likely Connected in Stafford: Police

Both incidents happened last weekend and both involved a thin white male and a heavier black male: Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA — Authorities believe the same two men were involved in separate armed robberies of businesses last weekend, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

In both cases, the suspects are described as a slim white male accompanied by a larger-framed black male.

The first incident happened shortly before 10 p.m. Friday when two masked men robbed Ricky's Chicken II, 3619 Jefferson Davis Highway, and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The second incident happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Latin Market, 367 Warrenton Road. An employee said a black male pointed a silver handgun at him while a white male took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

Police believe the pair may have escaped both times in a car parked nearby.
