Unsecured Storage Unit Plundered In Fredericksburg: Police

An unsecured storage unit recently was plundered in Fredericksburg, with myriad items stolen, according to Fredericksburg Police.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — It stands to reason if someone rents a storage unit, that person might want to make sure it's locked. After all, a storage unit can be an extension of one's home. Alas, that's wasn't the case earlier this week at Extra Space Storage, 2403 Plank Road, according to Fredericksburg Police.

Around 6 p.m. Wednesday, the victim told police his unsecured storage unit had been entered and numerous items had been stolen. Among them: two X-Box gaming units, two televisions, seven fishing poles, video games and collectable items. There are no suspects or witnesses.
