Because the monks’ daily travel distance is dependent on weather conditions and overall progress, plans are subject to change. Local officials will continue to coordinate closely and will share information as schedules and details are confirmed.
Residents are asked to follow the guidance of public safety officials and remain patient and respectful as the monks make their way through the region. Traffic volumes along portions of the route may be heavy at times. Drivers are encouraged to use caution and remain alert to help ensure the monks’ safe passage through the area.
