Vandalism Charges Levied Against Stafford Man In Graffiti Case: Police
Fredericksburg City Police arrested a 41-year-old Stafford County man in connection to a series of graffiti tags found on city buildings.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A 41-year-old Stafford County man faces multiple vandalism charges after graffiti tags were found on several downtown buildings on Friday, including the Fredericksburg General District Courthouse building.
FPD Officer Gregory Baugher was sent to the courthouse on Princess Anne Street after the E-911 Center received a report about the graffiti. He found several new tags on the building.
Throughout the day, Baugher reported finding similar tags on other downtown buildings, including an exterior door of Sedona Tap House, the Winchester Street parking garage, and two electrical boxes. A clothing donation box and storage shed in the 1700 block of Carl D. Silver parkway had also been tagged.

After extracting several images of the suspected graffiti artist from a courthouse surveillance video, Baugher shared them with other officers, according to police.
Officer Angel Funez, who working an off-duty detail at Wegmans later that same day, spotted the man in the surveillance photos walk into the store. He determined that the suspect, whom police identified as Antiona Perrin, was wanted on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction. Funez arrested Perrin without incident.

Police charged Perrin with seven counts of vandalism and served him with the outstanding warrant. He remains in Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
