Virginia Man Installs Road Signs to Find Kidney Donor for Wife
Glenn Mills placed 70 signs along busy roads from Spotsylvania County to Pittsburgh trying to find a match for his wife, Ana.

With his wife’s life on the line, a Virginia man has taken drastic and unorthodox measures to try and find her a new kidney.
Glenn Mills has now installed 70 signs from Spotsylvania County to Pittsburgh, Pa., seeking a kidney for his wife, Ana, WUSA reported.
The signs were all set up along busy roads and contain information about a website — Kidney Quest — that Mills created to aid in his search for a donor.

The website says that due to Ana’s condition, she has only a 2 percent chance of matching with a potential donor. Upon coupling those odds with the fact that only one in 10 people on a transplant waiting list undergo a successful transplant, and Mills knew he’d have to think outside the box for his wife.
