Volunteering brings immeasurable satisfaction

Ahmadiyya Muslim Women Association volunteered for tree planting

Volunteering is a deed which brings immeasurable satisfaction. I have personally experienced delightful feelings so many times that volunteering brings. The members of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, South Virginia chapter, offered their services for tree planting in Fredericksburg on September 30th with Tree Fredericksburg. It was a great learning experience for us all. Women along with their children, participated with excitement, enthusiasm, and keen interest. As other groups also participated in this community service it resulted in a nice expression of coming together of people from different backgrounds.

It was truly an enjoyable hard work in saving our earth and making it beautiful by planting trees alongside the roads. We were able to plant fifty trees in just a couple of hours and felt amazed as to how fast the work got done, simply because of working together.

Once we were done, we proceeded home with gratitude to God for providing us with an opportunity to serve our community. I would strongly encourage everyone to take part in future tree planting opportunities nearby if possible.
