Wallace Edgar Peterson, 60, of Fredericksburg passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Wallace served in the US Navy and retired as a Commander.
Wallace is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gail Peterson; two daughters, Jessica Douglass and her husband, John M. of Crofton, MD and Christine Tolbert and her husband, Robert of Louisiana; a brother, Gerald Peterson and his wife, Ruth of Iowa; a sister, Jeanne Feldmeier and her husband, Wayne of Minnesota; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Thelma Peterson.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2014 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Burial will be private.
Donations may be made in Wallace’s name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
