Wanted Man Leads Police On Chase Through Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania: Police

A wanted man from Triangle was arrested on Monday after a police chase that started in Fredericksburg and continued into Spotsylvania.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A police chase that began in Fredericksburg ended in Spotsylvania on Monday evening, the Fredericksburg Police Department said. Authorities said the suspect was already wanted for violating his probation.

Police identified the suspect as 57-year-old Glen Hall, Jr. He now faces additional charges of failure to display license plates, reckless driving, driving on a revoked license, eluding law enforcement, and obstruction of justice.

Hall is being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Around 9 p.m. on Monday, a Fredericksburg police officer tried to stop a vehicle on Plank Road that was missing a license plate. The driver refused to pull over and sped up to 80 miles per hour in the 35 miles per hour zone, according to the police report.

The police officer said they later found the suspect's vehicle at the intersection of Emancipation Highway and Beverly Lane. When the officer got out of his car, the suspect sped away again towards Spotsylvania County, the police department said.

Deputies with the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office said they saw the vehicle speeding on Harrison Road. The suspect eventually ditched his vehicle on a gravel road and ran away, police said.

A Spotsylvania police K-9 found the man lying in the woods and he was taken into custody.
