Wanted Man Arrested After Woman Finds Him On Her Back Porch: Police

A wanted man was arrested last week in Stafford County after a woman saw him outside her apartment window. Police found him on her porch.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A wanted man from Alexandria was arrested on Thursday outside an apartment in Stafford County. A woman told authorities she saw the man outside her window, and Stafford deputies found him on the back porch.

The Stafford County Sheriff's Office identified the man as 27-year-old Keenan Duncan. Duncan was already wanted on trespassing charges. On Thursday, authorities charged him with identity theft, providing a false identity to law enforcement, obstruction of justice, and possession of controlled substances.

Duncan is being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Around 12 p.m. on Thursday, a woman at the England Run North Apartments reported that she saw a man outside her window. A deputy found the man sitting on her back porch, the sheriff's office said.

The deputy asked the man his name, and he provided false identities, authorities claimed.

"Deputy Charoenthep quickly discovered the lie and gave the suspect another chance to provide the right answer. This time, the suspect attempted to claim he was Peso the Rapper," the sheriff's office said in a report. "With a little help from Google, that too was discovered to be a lie. The suspect was then detained."

Authorities later identified the man as Keenan Duncan. They learned that Duncan was already wanted in Stafford County for trespassing. Deputies said they found controlled substances on Duncan's person during a search.
