UPDATE: Weather Decisions for Fredericksburg Area Schools

Icy conditions expected in the early morning hours Monday has led some area schools to make announcements about classes on Monday, March 2, 2015.

Fredericksburg City Schools:

Fredericksburg City Schools will have a 2 hour DELAYED opening on Monday March 2, 2015

Spotsylvania County Schools:

All Spotsylvania County Public Schools will be on a 2-hour delay on Monday, March 2, 2015. 12-month employees report on-time as safety permits.

Stafford County Schools:

All Stafford County Public Schools will be closed today, Monday, March 2, 2015. Code 2 for employees. Administrative Offices will open at 10 a.m.

In it’s warning of overnight ice, the National Weather Service noted that sidewalks would likely be ”quite icy and require particular caution.”
