Weather Delays for Some Fredericksburg Area Schools

Some schools in the area will be starting late on Monday to avoid a freezing rain forecast.

Stafford County Schools will open two hours late today Monday, January 12, 2015. Inclement weather conditions will be reassessed at 7:15 a.m. There will be no a.m. preschool classes. No change to p.m. preschool classes.

Due to inclement weather, Spotsylvania County Public Schools will will open 2-hours late on Monday, January 12, 2015. 12-month employees should report on time as safety permits.

Fredericksburg City Schools will have a 2 hour DELAYED opening on Monday January 12, 2015.

A freezing rain advisory is in effect until 9 a.m.
