Wegmans Announces Hiring Blitz Across Virginia

Wegmans Food Markets is looking to make a hiring blitz across Virginia that includes applicants for entry level management positions but focuses more on its culinary and perishable teams, according to the New York-based company.

It particularly wants to fill openings in prepared foods, pizza, bakery, meat, produce, deli, sub shop and cheese shop.

"While a lot of retailers are looking for seasonal help this time of year, we’re hiring new team members for year-round positions," said Wegmans Virginia Division Manager Bob Farr in a release. "At a time when our stores continue to lead the industry in both traditional grocery and culinary, we are looking for talented individuals to help us continue the same success we’ve experienced over the last 100 years."
