What is true purpose of our lives?

Humanity should be our utmost priority. Not only does it bring peace in our lives, but it also blesses our souls with contentment. Loving and caring for others to me is the purpose of my life, a primary message from God Almighty.

I belong to Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and the local chapter of the community has participated in many local and national events to serve humanity by fundraising or food drives for donation centers, during the previous year.

My experiences of service to humanity have taught me how one needs to understand the world. I feel great meeting new people, sharing our experiences, and through that learning about diversity. We have also organized charitable events for homeless and people with special needs.

My passion for serving humanity comes from my faith as it is at the heart of Islam. True Islam emphasizes service to humanity without discrimination and it implies acceptance of diversity. True service is when we help others even though they can't help us back.
