What's Open, Closed In Fredericksburg For Christmas Weekend 2020

Wondering what's open and closed and when your trash will be picked up with Christmas falling on a Friday this year?

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Local, county and state government offices, along with numerous services, will not be available Christmas. According to the city's website, all Fredericksburg city offices will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas.

On Christmas Eve, curbside collection of trash and recycling will take place as usual. There will be no trash or recycling collection on Christmas Day. Friday customers will have their trash picked up on Saturday.

The Belman Rd Recycling Center and the Stafford Landfill will close at noon Christmas Eve and remain closed Christmas Day. Normal operations will resume Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Fredericksburg library branch will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Circuit Court, General District Court and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court are closed Dec. 24-25.
