William John Minchin, 72, of Stafford County, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, at Mary Washington Hospital.
A graduate of Virginia Tech, Mr. Minchin had retired as a regional sales manager for Exxon-Mobil. He was a member of the Aquia Harbour Lions Club and a parishioner of St. William of York Catholic Church for 19 years.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Minchin; his son James, of Chester, MD; and four grandsons, Connor, Christopher, Brandon, and Logan Minchin; and a sister, Lucille Zaleski of Norfolk. He was preceded in death by a son, Brian John Minchin.

A mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 27, at St. William of York Catholic Church. Inurnment will be private.
