The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Saturday at the McDonald's on Towne Center Boulevard in Stafford County. "Witnesses reported a hostile female with a golf club acting aggressively and threatening staff," the sheriff's office said in a report.
When deputies arrived at the restaurant, the woman was still holding the golf club and disrupting the business, police said. She eventually dropped the golf club as deputies took her into custody.
"Her beef with the restaurant, and why she had a golf club, remains a mystery," the sheriff's office said.
