Woman Arrested After Causing Disturbance In North Stafford: Police
Amanda Pacey of Stafford is facing multiple new charges after deputies took her into custody on two outstanding warrants.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A woman wanted by police is facing multiple new charges after authorities said she caused a disturbance in North Stafford.
Amanda Pacey, 31, of Stafford, was charged with possession of controlled substances, obstruction of justice and falsely identifying herself to law enforcement following the Thursday incident, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
According to authorities, deputies responded to a house on Shelton Shop Road after a caller reported that Pacey was at her home and she didn't want her there. Before deputies arrived, they confirmed Pacey had outstanding warrants in Stafford County for a probation violation, and in Prince William County for a pre-trial violation and failing to appear in court.

When deputies arrived, they located Pacey inside her car. When deputies called her by her name, authorities said Pacey tried identifying herself as her twin sister. Once she exited the car, authorities said she disregarded deputy commands and resisted attempts to be taken into custody.
During the struggle to place her into handcuffs, authorities said a glass vial came off Pacey's person. She later admitted the vial contained crack, the sheriff's office said.
