Woman Kicks, Claws and Attempts to Bite Deputies: Stafford Sheriff's Office

Stafford County Deputies say woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, after which she kicked and tried to bite the arresting officers.

STAFFORD, VA — An apparently intoxicated woman was arrested Monday night by Stafford County Deputies for disorderly conduct, after which she kicked, clawed and attempted to bite the arresting deputies in the 100 block of White Oak Road, according to police.

Diane L. Timbers, 48, of Marshall, was charged with assault and battery of a police officer, resisting arrest and public swearing or intoxication.

It was Timbers' second run-in with police that day, and the second incident, around 10 p.m., happened when police were called to the residence concerning a property dispute. When deputies arrived, they said she was verbally abusive toward the officers and, after attempts to calm her, they arrested her.

In the first incident, shortly after 2 a.m. at the same residence, police responded to a domestic dispute. It was reported to police that the woman had broken out a vehicle's windshield with a brick and then left the scene driving a blue Ford Explorer.

A lookout alert was given, and police pulled over the vehicle on Cambridge Road. She told police she had been arguing with her boyfriend, got mad and smashed the windshield — of her own vehicle.

Because she owned the vehicle, no charges were filed.
