Woman Tried To Kick, Spit On Deputies In Stafford County: Police
A woman tired to kick and spit on deputies at the Comfort Suites on Warrenton Road in Stafford on Tuesday, the sheriff's office said.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A woman was arrested on Tuesday after she attempted to kick and spit on deputies, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.
Police identified the woman as 22-year-old Dandy Castanon. Castanon is charged with disorderly conduct, simple assault and assault and battery on law enforcement. She was held on an unsecured bond and has been released on recognizance, according to court records.
If convicted of all charges, she could face up to 3 years in prison. Her next court date is scheduled for Nov. 10.

The incident occurred at the Comfort Suites on Warrenton Road in Stafford County on Tuesday. Authorities said deputies responded to the hotel after a caller reported hearing loud noises in one of the rooms.
When deputies arrived, they met Castanon at her room. Police said she "was in an intoxicated state and was advised hotel staff wanted her to leave."

Castanon became hostile when she went to the lobby with deputies, according to the police report. Deputies tried to arrest her for disorderly conduct, and she began to attempt to kick and spit on them.
Deputies eventually placed her in leg restraints and took her to the magistrate's office with additional assault charges.
