'Yankees in Falmouth!' This Weekend Near Stafford

Activities will based around the historic Moncure Conway House, built in 1897, that was part of the Underground Railroad for runaway slaves.

FALMOUTH, VA — A glorified Civil War reenactment will be held Saturday and Sunday at the historic Moncure Conway House, 305 Kings Street in Falmouth.

It's dubbed the "9th Annual Yankees in Falmouth!," held in conjunction with the Stafford County department of tourism.

The Moncure Conway House, built in 1897, was part of the Underground Railroad for runaway slaves.
