Young Woman Sexually Assaulted After Being Pulled From Wreck in Stafford: Police

Victim's vehicle hit by suspect's on Kings Highway, after which the man dragged her into a ditch and assaulted her for two hours.

STAFFORD, VA — A young woman was pulled from her vehicle following an early morning accident Monday, dragged into a nearby ditch by the other driver and sexually assaulted for two hours in the area of Kings Highway and Sherwood Forest Farm Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect (police sketch above) is described as a Hispanic man about 30 years old, about 5-9, weighing between 170-180 pounds with black hair and a short black beard. He was wearing light blue jeans and a sleeveless white tank top under a plaid shirt (orange, blue and white, above).

He spoke Spanish and broken English and was driving a dark SUV, which he used to leave the scene and proceed east on Kings Highway (Route 3).

Sometime around 2:45-3:15 a.m., both vehicles were traveling east, and the suspect's vehicle hit the victim's before he forcibly removed her from the vehicle and dragged her into the ditch and began the long sexual assault.

When the suspect left, the victim walked back to her vehicle and called 911 from her cell phone but a deputy had just arrived at the scene.

There may be orange paint transfer on the suspect's vehicle and damage to the front quarter panel on the passenger side.
