ALEXANDRIA, VA — A house fire prompted a two-alarm response from Fairfax County firefighters Saturday evening in the Alexandria area, but no injuries were reported.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said crews responded just before 8 p.m. to the 2700 block of Schooley Drive, where firefighters found heavy fire coming from multiple sides of the home and through the roof.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control, according to the department.
No firefighters or civilians were injured, Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The department did not immediately release additional details about the extent of the damage or whether anyone was displaced.
