Creative Dance Center's 6th Annual Winter Benefit Dance Performance

CDC gives back and performs to benefit the Malone Foundation, LAWS (Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter), and Paxton Campus

Stone Bridge High School will shine brightly on Friday, February 6th, 2015, at 7:30p.m., when local dancers from Chantilly, Ashburn, Old Ashburn, and South Riding’s Creative Dance Center give back and perform to benefit the Malone Foundation, LAWS (Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter), and the new theater for The Barns at Paxton. Creative Dance Center’s 6-Time World Championship Competition Team, Performing Troupe, and All Stars unite for one evening to celebrate life, youth, and the love of dance and give back to the community.

Proceeds from the 5 previous CDC Winter Benefits raised $32,000 in support of charitable causes including The Malone Foundation, LAWS, and Our Military Kids. 2014’s sellout, standing room only 5th Annual Winter Benefit raised over $7,000 for each in one night for the Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter and the Teri and Shari Malone Foundation.

Help us surpass that amount this year by purchasing your seats now. With limited General Admission Seating available at only $20.00 online, $25 at the door on the evening of the show, tickets will surely go fast. To purchase tickets, visit any of Creative Dance Center’s studios or purchase safely online now at http://www.ipayouth.org/shop.html. For more information on how you may support the cause, call CDC at (703) 378-1800 or visit us on the web at http://www.CDCdance.com.

The Teri and Shari Malone Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing and developing the talents of selected eighth grade students from Loudoun County schools through scholarship grants. The Foundation is committed to remembering a talented set of twins who tragically lost their lives shortly after finishing their eighth grade year in school. Friends of the family established this Foundation to honor the girls in 1991.

The Malone Foundation provides scholarships for 8th grade students in Loudoun County to further their education in Math, Science, Art, Music, Drama, or Dance. This year we are pleased to acknowledge Brianna Crump and Brooke Weismiller as the CDC award recipients for 2014.

Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter, also known as Loudoun Citizens for Social Justice, is a private nonprofit in Loudoun County, Virginia. LAWS is a dual agency, serving both domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. LAWS seeks to empower survivors of interpersonal violence so that they may live lives free from fear, anxiety, and danger. All of LAWS services are free and confidential.
